(PetroNoticias) Imetame notified the National Petroleum Agency (ANP) about the discovery of oil evidence in the Sintonia prospectus (1-IMET-28-ES), within the ES-T-441 block, located on the terrestrial part of the Espírito Santo Basin. Exploratory activity in the region began in April.
Block ES-T-441 was fully purchased by Imetame in 2018, during the 14th Bidding Round of the ANP. The company paid a signing bonus of R $ 1 million. In November of last year, EnP announced the acquisition of 50% of this and four other onshore exploration blocks in the Espírito Santo Basin in partnership with Imetame: ES-T-354, 373, 477 and 487.
Still talking about exploratory activity in the Brazilian onshore, at the beginning of the month it was Recôncavo Energia’s turn to notify the ANP about the discovery of oil evidence in the onshore well 1-FFL-1-BA, in the Recôncavo Basin. The well is in the REC-T-180 block, which was purchased in the 13th Concession Round. The first exploratory period in the region is valid until June 17. The second exploratory period will run until June 2023.
