Three new exploratory wells for 2021

Petrobras announced in October that it sold the Lagoa Parda, Lagoa Parda Norte and Lagoa Piabanha fields for US $ 10.84 million to Imetame. In the first eight months of 2020, the three fields produced 113.5 barrels of oil per day (bpd) and 1.7 thousand m³ / day of natural gas.

EnP and Imetame will now work on reactivating 29 wells in the field, with the aim of increasing production to 700 barrels / day of oil.

Along with the fields, the Lagoa Parda Natural Gas Processing Unit (UPGN) was acquired, with a capacity of 1.25 million m3 / day, and a Liquid Treatment Station with a capacity of 25 thousand barrels per day. The companies intend to reactivate the UPGN and open access for third parties.

“We will work to get the UPGN up and running again as soon as possible. It is important for Espírito Santo, for the New Gas Market, and for the Brazilian onshore ”, commented EnP’s CEO, Márcio Félix.

Exploration

In 2020, EnP and Imetame will carry out the drilling campaign for the Sintonia prospect, located in the ES-T-441 block. For the next year, three other exploratory wells are planned to be drilled in the region.

In September, Imetame sent the Life Discovery Assessment Plan to ANP, made from the drilling of well 1-VID-1-ES (VIDA), located in block ES-T-487. PAC provides for testing to assess the discovery well.

The company is registered, nominated areas and has already presented guarantees to dispute areas in the terrestrial part of the Espírito Santo Basin in the second cycle of the permanent offer, which will be auctioned on December 4th. In addition to upsides, it will look at attractive exploration projects for development.
