The National Petroleum Agency (ANP) approved the revisions of eight of the ten fields that were owned by Petrobras and were taken over by Trident Energy. The areas in question are: Badejo, Linguado, Marimbá, Piraúna, Bonito, Enchova, Enchova Oeste and Trilha, all located in the Campos Basin. The ANP also approved the reduction of royalties in these areas.
In the case of Badejo e Linguado, the agency determined the contractual extension of the production phase to December 31, 2048. The first evaluation period for these areas will last for 3 years, during which the studies necessary to advance the development are active.
After that interval, the company will have to decide whether to drill an investigation well; further develop the field by presenting a revision of the Development Plan or the asset will be returned. If necessary, a second evaluation period will be granted.
In relation to Marimbá and Piraúna, the ANP extended the production phase of the assets until December 2047 and December 2042, respectively. The agency also gave the guarantee to stop production at the Piraúna field until December 31, 2025.
Finally, the Bonito, Enchova, Enchova Oeste and Trilha fields had their production phases extended until December 31, 2044.
