Petrobras postponed to July 25 the deadline for delivery of the proposals to charter helicopters of the medium and super-medium types.
The scope includes more than 20 aircraft, with operations from the Jacarepaguá or Cabo Frio airports in Rio de Janeiro.
In the latest bid, CHC Brasil and Omni Táxi Aéreo presented packages of 12 and 11 helicopters, respectively.
Both competitions are designed to replace contracts that are coming to an end between this and next year.
Currently there are about 70 medium and large helicopters serving offshore operations in the country, in most cases for Petrobras.
