Sept. 26 – Petrobras signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Mozambique’s Empresa Nacional de Hidrocarbonetos (ENH) to establish the foundation for strategic cooperation between the companies in the oil and gas sector. The agreement’s objectives include joint efforts in studies, assessment, development, and commercialization, as well as knowledge sharing and the exchange of technical expertise.
Signing the document on behalf of Petrobras were Sylvia Anjos, Director of Exploration and Production, and Jonilton Pessoa, Executive Manager of Exploration. Signing for the Mozambican company were Rudêncio Morais, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Alegria Cossa, Board Member.
ENH is the Mozambican state’s commercial arm for the exploration, production, processing, marketing, and distribution of oil and gas, including project development across the oil sector’s entire value chain.
The MoU is valid for two years, renewable by mutual agreement.
