Oil States to Supply Rigid Jumpers for the Buzios 10 Project

Aug. 7 (PN) Oil States do Brasil has signed a contract to manufacture and supply rigid jumpers for the Buzios 10 project, located in the pre-salt region of the Santos Basin. The equipment will be used in the field’s subsea system and will operate in water depths ranging from 1,720 to 2,190 meters.

The contract has an 18-month execution period and will involve a multidisciplinary team of professionals. Activities will be carried out at the company’s base in Macaé and at Triunfo Logística’s facilities at the Port of Rio de Janeiro.

According to Oil States, the new contract reinforces its presence in highly complex subsea projects. The company also highlighted the recent completion of supplies for the Mero 3 project—which achieved a 100% pass rate on welded joints—as well as ongoing contracts for the Mero 4 and Búzios 8 projects.

The Búzios 10 project entails the installation of the P-82 FPSO, which will have the capacity to produce up to 225,000 barrels of oil per day (bpd) and process up to 12 million cubic meters of gas per day. The P-82 project plan involves interconnecting 16 wells: 9 producers and 7 injectors. Petrobras operates the field with a 92.6% stake, alongside partners CNOOC and CNODC, each holding a 3.7% share.
