(PN) Enauta announced that its production throughout the month of January reached the level of 16.1 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day. The volume represents a drop of 13.9% compared to the month of December, when production was 18.7 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day.
The Atlanta field, the company’s main asset, produced 12,300 barrels of oil per day in January, a decrease of 5.3% compared to the previous month. The Atlanta field is producing with two wells.
“In the second half of January, we completed the drilling of well 7-ATL-5H-RJS, which will be one of the producing wells in the Early Production System (from Atlanta), after the completion of the interconnection phase to FPSO Petrojarl I,” said Enauta.
Meanwhile, in the Manati field, where the oil company has a 45% stake, production was 1.3 million cubic meters of natural gas per day, a drop of 35% compared to December. According to Enauta, production in the Manati field reflects changes in demand for natural gas, perceived in recent months.
