Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. – Petrobras, following up on the release disclosed on 05/13/2022, informs that the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE), in a court session held on this date, approved the transaction for the sale of the Isaac Sabbá Refinery (REMAN) to Ream Participações S.A., through the execution of an Agreement in Concentration Control – ACC (agreement).
The agreement was proposed by Ream Participações S.A. and aims to address the competition concerns identified by CADE.
The decision will be published in the Official Gazette of the Union according to CADE’s regimental term and the conclusion of the transaction is still subject to the other precedent conditions provided for in the purchase and sale agreement.
Relevant facts will be communicated to the market in due course.
