Omni to Provide Air Support to Shell in E&P Production Projects in the Campos Basin

(PN) Omni Táxi Aéreo was contracted by Shell in two tenders to support the oil company’s production and exploration operations in different fields located in the Campos Basin.

In the Parque das Conchas, Bijupira and Salema fields, Omni will provide the air taxi service with AW139 model aircraft, with a maximum takeoff weight of 7 tons, which will begin operations in March 2022. This contract will last for four years , with flights departing from Campos dos Goytacazes base. In order to support exploration activities in the Bob-1A well, in block CM-791, an S92 model aircraft is already being used, with flights departing from the Jacarepaguá base.
