Petrobras postponed again delivery deadline for interconnection services for wells in the field

Petrobras has postponed the deadline for delivery of goods and services for the installation of rigid, flexible, umbilical and submarine pipelines of the Mero 1 production collection system in the pre-salt Santos.

The date of submission of proposals has been postponed sequentially. Originally, the established deadline was August 10, but the date was then rescheduled for the 17 and later for the 21st.

Mero 1 will be the first permanent project in the NW Libra area, in the Northeast region of the block, with 17 wells, eight producers and nine Water Alternating Gas (WAG) injectors connected to an FPSO with capacity to produce 180,000 barrels / day.

The wells will be interconnected in two phases to be executed between the first quarter of 2020 and the third of 2021. The first phase will have 13 wells (six producers and seven injectors) and the second, four wells (two producers and two WAG injectors).
