Norteng presented the lowest price for Petrobras’ tender for the construction of the Comperj pipe-rack in Itaboraí (RJ). The company’s offer was approximately R $ 160 million, surpassing MIP Engenharia’s bid of approximately R $ 170 million.
Other bids underway at Comperj are for the construction of the Integrated Control Center (ICC) and for the landscaping of the project.
Construction of the ultra-fast stretch of the Rota 3 gas pipeline, which will take pre-salt gas to Comperj’s NGPU, will be done by McDermott, which has won the competition.
“The bids necessary for the full operation of NGPU Rota 3 are underway, and the contracts of the NGPU itself, Dutos Norte and Drainage have been signed and the works are being started,” Petrobras informed via press office.
In early July, Petrobras signed a letter of intent with China’s CNPC to assess the completion of refinery works, whose first train has yet to be scheduled to start operations.
“Petrobras is working on the details of the business model for a partnership that will allow the completion of the first Comperj train,” the company added.
