Petrobras has received an environmental license from Ibama for the acquisition of high-definition 3D geophysical data in the Búzios field, in the Santos Basin, using nodes. The data acquired in the seismic survey will allow the characterization of reservoir rocks in the field, aiming to optimize oil production in the field.
This work calls for the use of a seismic vessel and an assistant vessel, which will be defined after bidding. The job will take 270 days, and will use 24 active guns. The nodes (sensors) will be deposited 400m each other on the marine floor.
The license was issued on 4/6 and published in the Official Gazette on 12/6, with validity for October 31, 2019.
On Tuesday, the company received another license from IBAMA, this time for the installation of the P-76 in the Búzios field.
