Multimillion-dollar jobs take DOF’s vessel pair to Americas

Aug. 10 (offshore-energy.biz) DOF Group, a Norwegian operator and owner of a fleet of advanced vessels for the energy and marine sectors, has lined up work for two anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessels in the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) region, encompassing member states and territories across the Caribbean, as well as Belize in Central America and Guyana and Suriname in northern South America.

DOF has been awarded firm contracts with a combined duration of 150 days for two of its undisclosed AHTS vessels in the CARICOM region, a grouping of 23 countries that represents a political and economic union of 15 member states and eight associate members across the Caribbean, South America, and Central America.

The Norwegian vessel owner will also provide remotely operated vehicle (ROV) services for the engagement with a company whose name has not been revealed. The two vessels will begin transit to the region shortly.
