(PN) PRIO released its operational data for May this week. The company recorded a production of 88.7 thousand barrels per day of oil equivalent, which represents a drop of 4.4% compared to the previous month’s result (92.7 thousand barrels per day).(PN)
According to the company, the Frade field had its production impacted due to the stoppage of the ODP3 well, which is awaiting IBAMA’s approval to start the workover. PRIO also reported that production at the asset in May was 46.3 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day, a decrease of 5.9% compared to April.
Meanwhile, in the Polvo and Tubarão Martelo cluster, the TBMT-8H well had its production temporarily interrupted due to a failure in the Submerged Centrifugal Pump and is awaiting IBAMA’s approval to begin the workover. Active production in May reached 15.2 thousand (down 4.6%).
Finally, PRIO also announced that production at Albacora Leste totaled 27.5 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day in the month, a decrease of 1.6% compared to April.
