(PN) Enauta recorded total production of 745 thousand barrels of oil equivalent in March 2024 and more than 2.3 million barrels of oil equivalent in the first quarter of this year. The company’s average production between January and March was 25,500 barrels of oil equivalent per day, an increase of approximately 70% compared to the same quarter of the previous year, when the daily average was 15,800 barrels of oil equivalent. Natural gas production stood at 4,200 barrels of oil equivalent per day, From January to March, Enauta recorded the highest average daily production since the second quarter of 2020.
Last month, the company updated the potential reserves of the Atlanta and Manati Fields, which now total 181.2 million barrels of oil equivalent (proven and probable – 2P), in 2023 – 7% more than the previous year . As a result, the net present value of reserves reached US$4.2 billion (2P), an increase of 33% compared to 2022. According to the company, the Atlanta Field added 15.4 million barrels of reserves (2P) already discounting the 2023 production, coming from the region called “Atlanta NE”. In the case of Manati, reserves were adjusted mainly by gas production accumulated in 2023.
In March, the FPSO Atlanta began sailing towards the Atlanta Field and is expected to arrive at the beginning of May, when the anchoring process will begin. All equipment necessary to begin the underwater installation campaign has been received, including umbilicals and flexibles. The completion of these deliveries re-ensures the completion of the FPSO Atlanta’s 1st oil schedule by August of this year.
