Pre-salt production in November totaled 2.714 million bpd, of which 2.141 million were oil and 91 million cubic meters per day were natural gas. There was an increase of 2.8% compared to the previous month and 12% compared to the same month in 2020. The pre-salt production originated from 131 wells and corresponded to 73.2% of the total produced in Brazil.

In November, the Tupi field, in the Santos Basin pre-salt, was the largest producer of oil and natural gas, recording 874,000 bpd and 40.9 million cubic meters of natural gas per day. Platform P-77, producing in the Buzios field through five wells connected to it, was the installation with the highest oil production, with 161,290 thousand bpd. The installation FPSO Cidade de Itaguaí, producing in the Tupi field, through 7 wells connected to it, was the installation with the highest production of natural gas, producing 7.383 million cubic meters per day. Estreito, in the Potiguar Basin, had the highest number of onshore oil producing wells: 944. Tupi, in the Santos Basin, was the offshore field with the highest number of producing wells: 60. These fields produced 439.1 barrels of oil equivalent per day, with 172.8 barrels of oil and 42,300 cubic meters of natural gas per day.
