Perenco plans operating an FSO in 2022

(epbr) Perenco plans to start operating an FSO in August 2022. The unit will be anchored 2.5 km away from the PPG-1A platform, at an average depth of 93 m and 72 m away. km from the coast of the municipality of Campos dos Goytacazes.

— A 3 km long pipeline, also foreseen in the project, will drain the oil from the PPG-1A platform to the FSO.

— With the project, the production of Pargo cluster will no longer travel more than 150 km by sea and land to the Tecab, to be drained, stored and transferred within the limits of the Pargo field

The investments are part of the agreement with the ANP to extend until 2040 the concession contracts for the Carapeba, Pargo and Vermelho fields, all in the shallow waters of the Campos Basin. The plan foresees firm investments in the order of US$192 million and another US$170 million contingent, which could make the total investments reach US$362 million.

Firm and contingent investments planned by field:

1. Pargo | BRL 83.9 million – BRL 23.9 million firm and BRL 60 million contingent

2. Carapeba | BRL 159.9 million – BRL 87.9 million firm and BRL 72 million contingent

3. Vermelho | BRL 118.8 million – BRL 80.8 million firm and BRL 38 million contingent
