The executive Carlos Mastrangelo will be the new director of exploration and production of the company, succeeding the position that was previously occupied by Danilo Oliveira. Mastrangelo’s appointment will now be considered by the company’s Board of Directors, in a meeting called for February 8, formally changing the director.
Enauta’s new E&P director has been in the oil and gas industry for over 35 years, a good part of that period working at Petrobras and SBM Offshore. Mastrangelo is an engineer graduated from UFRJ, with an emphasis on civil and petroleum engineering. For having participated in highly complex FPSO projects, the executive received the Distinguished Achievement Award for Individuals in 2019, during the OTC Houston that year.
Enauta also informed that in terms of its nomination policy, the Ethics, Governance and Sustainability Committee analyzed the name of Mastrangelo and the Compensation and People Committee recommended the appointment of the executive to the company’s Board of Directors. In a statement, the oil company also thanked executive Danilo Oliveira “for his dedication over the past 16 years, having contributed significantly to the formation and growth of the company”.
