The board of the National Petroleum Agency (ANP) approved the review of the Discovery Assessment Plans (PADs) of the Farfan and Barra wells, in the Sergipe-Alagoas basin, operated by Petrobrás.
The regulatory agency determined the replacement of the firm commitment to execute the Long-Term Test (TLD) of well 3-BRSA-1178D-SES for 180 days with the execution of a TLD in the same well with 30 days of flow added to 150 days of measurements of static.
This well in question is linked to the FPSO Cidade de São Vicente, which is executing the Farfan TLD. The activity started in late February and should be completed in late August. The TLD, as we know, serves to test the behavior of the reservoir in production and the characteristics of its oil.
The ANP also decided that the critical dates of the Farfan and Barra PAD remain, which are: decision point for drilling the contingent commitment on June 1, 2021; and PAD deadline and end of the Exploration Phase established on September 1, 2021.
