The National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) published this Monday (21) a project summary of Brasil Refinarias to build a unit with capacity to process 735 barrels / day (117 m³ / day) in Bahia.
According to information sent by the company to ANP, the unit is designed to produce fuel oil, special oils, naphtha and paraffin. The agency will authorize the investment.
Brasil Refinarias is a subsidiary of the Guidastes Brasil Group, a logistics group that in recent years has entered into exploration and production projects, contracting blocks and fields with marginal accumulations offered in ANP rounds.
In the 4th round of marginal accumulations, the company contracted the Araçás Leste and Jacumirim fields, both in the Recôncavo Basin; and in the 14th concession round, the SEAL-T-132 block, ashore, in the Alagoas Basin. Guindastes Brasil operates with 100% of the contracts.
In Sergipe, Noxis Energy also has plans to build a refinery with an eye on the bunker, diesel and gasoline markets. Project under development foresees a unit of 25 thousand barrels / day.
