The Brazilian natural gas market is likely to grow significantly over the next few years, particularly between 2023 and 2025, with the entry of new projects in the Santos Basin, and the country needs to work to get input to market. , said the Executive Director of Petrobras Refining and Natural Gas, Anelise Lara.
The executive stressed that the state oil company has been working closely with the government and other agents to allow the gas sector to open up, with new players coming in, seeking more competition and investments.
Speaking during a gas sector event in Rio de Janeiro, Lara stressed that opening up requires multiple agents to act in a synchronized, transparent and aligned manner with regulators.
