Lorena Dominguez is the new Director of Operations (COO) of Repsol Sinopec Brasil. The Spanish executive will lead the teams responsible for Sapinhoá, Lapa, Albacora Leste, BM-C-33 and other company assets in the exploration phase in the country.
Recently, Lorena was the leader of Repsol’s team of geologists and geophysicists in the US and led the team responsible for Sapinhoá’s second largest field in Brazil.
Graduated in geology and marine geophysics from the University of Vigo, Spain, the executive has been working for 18 years in the oil and gas sector and has been with Repsol for 13 years.
Repsol Sinopec Brasil has a stake in blocks BM-S-51 (20%), BM-S-50 (20%), where the discovery of Sagitario is located; and BM-S-9 (25%), where are the fields of Lapa and Sapinhoá, in the Santos Basin. In Campos, it has slices of 35% in the BM-C-33 (35%), where is the discovery of Pão de Açúcar, and 10% in Albacora Leste.
