Rio de Janeiro, June 14, 2019 – Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. – Petrobras, following up on the release disclosed on May 29, 2019, informs that the 24th Federal Court of Rio de Janeiro revoked the injunction that suspended the sale of 100% of its shares in Araucária Nitrogenados SA (Ansa) and the Nitrogen Fertilizer Unit III (UFN-III).
Accordingly, Petrobras is resuming the competitive process for the sale of these units, in compliance with its divestment methodology, which is in line with the special regime for asset divestment by Federal mixed-capital companies, established in Decree 9188/2017.
These transactions are in line with the company’s portfolio optimization and improvement of capital allocation, aiming at generating value for our shareholders.
This report on Form 6-K shall be deemed to be incorporated by reference into the Preliminary Prospectus Supplement, dated June 10, 2019, relating to the previously announced offer by Caixa Econômica Federal of common shares, including common shares represented by American depositary shares, of Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. – Petrobras.
