The president of the National Economic and Social Development Bank (BNDES), Joaquim Levy, and the director general of the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP), Décio Oddone, will be in the front line of the Brazilian commission that goes to Oslo, Norway, next week to publicize the pre-salt opportunities. They participate in Nor-Shipping 2019, the largest global event in the naval industry. This year, Brazil will arrive with 70 people, the largest delegation ever taken to the Nordic country.
Due to the resumption of investments in oil and gas, the country will merit its own panel. “Investors see Brazil at this moment as a country with great potential for expansion in the maritime and offshore market, in addition to the development of industry and gas,” says Camila Mendes Vianna, a partner in the Kincaid Mendes Vianna office, which participates in maritime projects in the Brazil.
