Omni Táxi Aéreo was contracted by PetroRio to service the company’s operations in the Frade field in the Campos Basin. The agreement provides for the transportation of passengers and aeromedical coverage with flights departing from Macaé Airport (RJ).
The helicopter operator was already responsible for the air support to the oil company in the Polvo field, in the same basin.
S76C ++ aircraft with a capacity of 12 passengers and for aeromedical rescues, as well as aircraft for possible cargo transports, are available for the transport operation.
“This new operation was only possible due to the success and quality of the operation done together with Petrorio in the Polvo Field. With the new acquisition of our customer, we were chosen as the exclusive operator for offshore transportation for Petrorio flights, “commented Roberto Coimbra, Director of Omni Táxi Aéreo.
