Maha Energy is preparing a new well to start production at the Tiê field in the Recôncavo Basin. The oil company reported that the Attic well (7-TIE-1D-BA) reached 2,607 m depth, intersecting all defined targets, including the formation of Boipeba.
The company added that the tests carried out in the Água Grande and Sergi formations in the same field indicated the presence of oil and that the operations of completing the assets were already started.
At the Tartaruga field in the Sergipe-Alagoas Basin, the Brasserv # 149 rig was taken to well 107-D on April 7 to begin preparing it for production. Maha will do a new drilling on site and report the results in sequence.
In March, the average total production of the oil company was 2,960 boed, up 8% over the previous month.
Maha has a 75% stake in the Tartaruga field, having as active partner Petrobras (25%), and operates the Tiê field with full participation.
