Two groups dispute Sete Brasil’s rigs

The dispute over the acquisition of the four Sete Brasil drill rigs will be between the Keppel Fels shipyard and Magni Partners, the only groups that formalized an interest in the deal on the 27th of March.

According to documents and minutes of the process to which BE Petróleo had access, Keppel presented a proposal for the semi-submersibles Urca and Frade, which are being built by the group at the Brasfels Shipyard, in Angra dos Reis (RJ), while Magni delivered an offer for the four units, including the Arpoador and Guarapari drill ships, under construction at the Jurong Aracruz (ES) Shipyard.
