Petrobras registered a new discovery in the field of Jandaia Sul, in the Recôncavo Basin. Evidence of oil was found in well 7-JNDS-3DP-BA.
The onshore field was acquired by Petrobras in the 12th Round of concessions, with 100% participation. In January, production of Jandaia Sul was 64 bopd and 351 m³ / d of natural gas, totaling 66.2 boed, according to ANP data. The API grade of the field oil is 37.2º.
The field’s discovery and commercialization was made in April and December 2015, respectively. Production started in August 2017.
Other discoveries in 2019
In addition to Jandaia Sul, three other discoveries were registered this year: in the Peroba field (operated by Petrobras, with 40%, in partnership with BP 40% and CNODC 20), in the Santos Basin pre-salt; in the REC-T-80 block (Petrobras 100%) and in the REC-T-128 (operated by GeoPark, with 70%, in a consortium with Geopar Geosol, with 30%), both in the Recôncavo Basin.
