The oil company QGEP, of construction company Queiroz Galvão, is due to change its name to Enauta, according to a proposal approved by the company’s board of directors, which will be submitted to deliberations at meetings in April, a company statement said Monday.
“The company has decided to reshape its brand in order to reflect the key attributes and achievements that ensure continued sustainability and growth of its operations,” the company said in the statement.
The new Enauta brand will be adopted by Queiroz Galvão Exploration and Production (QGEP) and by its parent company, QGEP Participações. The assemblies to approve the new name will take place on April 17 and 18, respectively.
According to the company, the shares of the oil company will continue to be negotiated by the symbol QGEP3 until a new code is approved by the São Paulo bourse B3 – Bovespa.
“The date of change will be disclosed in due course,” the company added.
QGEP has 15 concessions for exploration and production of oil and gas in eight basins in Brazil, according to information from the company’s website.
