PetroRio, QGEP, Shell and Total go to the market to contract offshore vessels
PetroRio is hiring a PSV 4500 to support its drilling campaign at the Polvo field in the Campos Basin. The charter period will be 150 days, with the option of ten extensions of 15 days, and the vessel will be mobilized in April.
The oil company seeks another PSV 4500 to support operations in the asset, but still with no defined mobilization date. The contractual term in this case will be two years, with the possibility of extension for the same period.
Also in search of maritime support is Shell, operator of Parque das Conchas – where the Abalone, Argonauta and Ostra fields are located, as well as blocks in the Barreirinhas, Campos, Potiguar and Santos basins.
Shell received proposals last week to charter two AHTSs for a month, with six renewal options for seven days. Start-up is scheduled to take place between March 15 and April 15.
France’s Total surveyed the market in January to assess the conditions for hiring an OSRV to operate for about a month in the Lapa field in the Campos Basin.
Solstad Offshore announced the conclusion of a contract with Queiroz Galvão E & P (QGEO) for chartering AHTS Sagaris for 95 days (+180) to support production in the Atlanta field , in the Santos Basin.
