PetroRio extends Polvo FPSO contract

PetroRio signed with BW Offshore a one-year extension of the FPSO contract for lease and operation in the Polvo field. The contract will be valid through the third quarter of 2020, with options to remain in force until 2022.

Production and assets

PetroRio produced 13,356 bopd / day in December, an increase of 3% compared to November. Of this total, 10,098 barrels / day of oil were produced in the field of Polvo and 3,258 million m³ / day of gas were produced in the field of Manati.

In addition to the Polvo (100%), Campos Basin and Manati (10%) fields, in the Camamu-Almada Basin, PetroRio holds two exploration blocks in Foz do Amazonas, FZA-M-539 and FZA- M-254. The oil company has also participated in the divestment process of Petrobras, focusing on some assets of the Campos Basin.
