The P-66 held the second consecutive month as the platform with the largest production of oil and gas in the country, extracting 183 thousand bopd in October, being 146 thousand bopd and 5.8 million m³ / d of natural gas.
Petrobras’ FPSO ramp-up in the last year is the most marked among the platforms that compose the ANP’s monthly ranking, registering a 181% increase compared to the 65 thousand bopd produced in October 2017.
Interconnected to seven wells, the P-66 produces in the Lula Sul field, in the pre-salt of the Santos Basin, since May last year. The unit had its hull built at the Ecovix Shipyard, in Rio Grande (RS), and was integrated at Brasfels, in Angra dos Reis (RJ).
In the ranking of the 10 platforms with the highest production in October (latest ANP data), there are also the FPSOs Cidade de Ilhabela, Cidede de Saquarema, Cidade de Marica, Cidade de Itaguaí, Cidade de Mangaratiba, P-58, Cidade de São Paulo , Cidede de Paraty and Cidede de Angra dos Reis.
The P-43 and Espírito Santo platforms, which occupy the 15th and 18th places in terms of volume extracted in that month, are the units connected to the largest number of wells, with 18 in total each.
The most recently installed units, such as those that produce in the Santos pre-salt, are, on average, interconnected to six wells. This is because the flow per well in the area is well above the average of other Brazilian basins.
