Record Pre-salt participation in national oil and gas production in September

In all, post-salt and pre-salt production, the country produced 2.486 million barrels per day of oil, a reduction of 1.4% against the previous month and 5.9% against September 2017. natural gas totaled 113 million m3 per day, an increase of 6.1% compared to the previous month and a reduction of 0.9% compared to the same month last year. The Lula field, in the Santos Basin, was the largest producer of oil and natural gas. It produced, on average, 851 thousand bpd of oil and 35.5 million m3 / d of natural gas.

According to the ANP, the use of natural gas in Brazil in September reached 97.2% of the total volume produced. 56.4 million m3 / d were made available to the market. Gas flaring totaled 3.1 million m3 / d, a decrease of 0.6% compared to the previous month and 7.7% compared to the same month in 2017.
