ANP approves three more companies in the Permanent Offer


Capricorn, Dimensional Engenharia and its subsidiary Energizzi were approved by ANP


The ANP’s Special Bidding Commission approved the registration of three additional companies to participate in the Permanent Offer.

With these three, there are already 15 companies interested in the first phase of the Permanent Offer.

The Indian Capricorn was one of the inscribed in the 14th round, but did not win any area. Energizzi, the arm of E & P of Dimensional Engenharia, bought the Quiricó Valley field in the Recôncavo Basin during the 4th round of areas with mature accumulations.

Two other companies have exploration concessions: Phoenix (POT-T-743 and 744) and Repsol Exploration (ES-M-667).

First phase

To date, 158 blocks have been authorized in eight basins. The areas are in the Campos, Santos, Recôncavo, Sergipe-Alagoas, Paraná, Ceará, Potiguar and Parnaíba Basins. The permanent offer will provide to the market, fields returned or in the process of being returned or exploratory blocks with returned discoveries, as well as areas already authorized by CNPE in previous tenders.

The offer is divided into blocks with exploratory risk, producing fields and areas with marginal accumulations. In this first phase, however, only exploratory blocks will be offered. These are divided into high potential, new frontier and mature.
