Petrobras requests Operationing License for Búzios IV


The start of production of the onerous assignment system by P-77 is scheduled for 2019

Petrobras requested from IBAMA the operating license for the development of the production and disposal of Búzios IV, which will be through FPSO P-77. So far, the field development project in the Santos Basin has already had four wells drilled. Production in Búzios IV is expected to start in 2019.

Búzios, in the Northern part of the Santos Basin, is the first area of ​​Onerous Assignment developed. The 2010 contract had a declaration of commerciality in December 2013. According to PNG 2018-2022, five units are scheduled: P-74, P-75, P-76 (all for the second half of 2018), P-77 (2019) and Búzios V (2021).

The oil company is bidding for the Búzios V unit, whose best proposal was presented by the new Exmar. The companies negotiate the charter fee and technical and commercial issues.

On April 20, Petrobras started the production of the field, with the start-up of the P-74, which inaugurated the module I, operating in the central part.
