C.S.E. Mecânica e Instrumentação was the winner of the Petrobras 2017 Best Suppliers Award.
The company of the group Aker Solutions was awarded in the offshore maintenance categories, along with Imetame Metalmecânica, for onshore maintenance. In addition, it was the winner in Safety, Environment and Health (SMS) in these same areas.
In all, 17 suppliers in 13 areas and four SMS highlights were awarded based on performance criteria, SMS, compliance and no sanctions.
The winners, by area, were the following:
Siemens (Turbogeneration, installation and maintenance);
Sapura (Launch of flexible lines and Highlight in SMS in the area);
MfX do Brasil (Umbilicals);
Fugro Brasil (ROV and AUV);
TechnipFMC (Underwater production equipment);
Schlumberger (Drilling equipment and services and SMS Highlight in the area);

Petrobras used to hold regional awards in the past to recognize the good performance of suppliers, but these events were interrupted due to the contractual irregularities unveiled by Operation Lava Jato.
The idea now is to do the awards annually, both nationally and regionally – in the latter case, including operational areas, which would make it possible to recognize the work of smaller companies.
“We understand that it is time to resume, to turn this page. We are on an upward curve, as the latest ANP bids attest. Space will have. It is up to us to create the necessary competence to make the most of this environment, “said Petrobras Corporate Affairs Director Eberaldo de Almeida Neto.
