Rio de Janeiro, June 5, 2018 – Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. – Petrobras informs that the 4th Panel of the 5th Federal Regional Court ordered, by majority, the suspension of the sale of the shares of subsidiary Transportadora Associada de Gas (TAG).
However, the company reiterates that the aforementioned sale follows Petrobras’ Divestment Program, aligned with the guidelines of the Federal Audit Court (TCU), and complies with Decree 9.188/17 and Law 13.303/16 (State Law).
As soon as Petrobras is summoned of the decision, it will take the appropriate legal action on behalf of its investors and its own interests.
Petrobras reinforces the importance of the Partnerships and Divestments Program to reduce its level of indebtedness and generate value through portfolio management, maintaining the sustainability of its operations, in line with its Strategic and Business and Management Plan 2018-2022.
