June 4, 2018 – Petrobras informs that it signed, on 06/01/2018, with Banco Bradesco, a committed credit facility in the amount of R $ 2 billion, maturing in June 2023.
The new line of credit will cost 0.40% pa. by maintaining the limit with Banco Bradesco, creating an additional source of liquidity for the company to use according to its needs. In this way, Petrobras may use its cash for early settlement of existing debts, allowing the reduction of cost with interest without loss of liquidity.
This is the third committed credit line signed this year. As a result, the company has to withdraw US $ 4.35 billion (line with a syndicate of 17 banks) and R $ 4 billion (lines with Banco do Brasil and Bradesco). The transaction is in accordance with Petrobras’ liabilities management strategy, taking into account the deleveraging goal set forth in its 2018-2022 Business and Management Plan.
