Rio de Janeiro, April 18, 2018 – Petróleo Brasileiro SA – Petrobras, regarding unofficial information about the appointment of Mr. Pedro Parente to the chairmanship of another public company’s board of directors, clarifies that there will be no change in the exercise of his function as President of this company.
Mr. Pedro Parente is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of B3 and, as understood during the invitation to take over the presidency of Petrobras, he can participate in the board of a company outside the Petrobras System, provided there is no structural conflict of interests, in accordance with the Company’s Bylaws.
