SLB OneSubsea Leads Bid for 32 Subsea Trees for Petrobras’ Sergipe Deepwater Project

July 22 (PN) SLB OneSubsea submitted the lowest bids in a Petrobras tender for the supply of 32 subsea trees and other subsea equipment (manifolds, electro-hydraulic distribution units, PLEMs, ESDVs, and UTAs). The other competitors in the process were Baker Hughes and TechnipFMC. The data was recently released by Petronect (tender no. 7004565113). The equipment is intended for the Sergipe Deepwater (SEAP) projectJuly 22

The tender is divided into three lots. The tender rules provide for the contracting of 16 subsea trees in each of Lots 1 and 2. These lots are not mutually exclusive; a single company could win both. The third lot represents the consolidated demand of the first two—that is, it calls for the supply of 32 subsea trees.

When evaluating the bids, Petrobras will compare the sum of the best offers received for the individual lots (Lots 1 and 2) against the best offer submitted for the consolidated demand (Lot 3).

In all scenarios, SLB OneSubsea is ahead of its competitors. For Lot 1, the company bid R$ 1.58 billion, compared to R$ 1.81 billion from Baker Hughes and R$ 1.87 billion from TechnipFMC. For Lot 2, SLB OneSubsea bid R$ 1.76 billion, compared to R$ 2.05 billion from Baker Hughes and R$ 2.10 billion from TechnipFMC. Finally, for Lot 3, SLB OneSubsea took the lead with a bid of R$ 2.89 billion, compared to R$ 3.3 billion from Baker Hughes and R$ 3.49 billion from TechnipFMC.
