March 30 – Equinor has reached a significant milestone in the construction of the Raia FPSO (BM-C-33 project) with the completion of the lifting of modules at the Seatrium Angra dos Reis shipyard (formerly BrasFELS). In November 2025, the modules manufactured in Brazil were completed and shipped to Singapore, where they will be integrated into the platform’s hull.
Below are the main details of this stage and the project schedule
FPSO and Infrastructure Progress
National Manufacturing: The scope of construction in Brazil included three topside modules, carried out by Seatrium under contract with MODEC.
Integration in Singapore: After the modules leave Angra dos Reis, the next phase takes place in Singapore for the final assembly of the floating production, storage and offloading vessel (FPSO).
Raia Gas Pipeline: In parallel, Equinor completed the installation of the shallow water section of the 200 km gas pipeline, which will connect the unit to the Cabiúnas Terminal in Macaé (RJ).
Offshore Technology: The FPSO will be the first unit in Brazil to perform complete offshore gas treatment, sending the finished product to the grid.
