Sistac Signs Subsea Inspection Services Contract with BW Energy

March 5 (PN) SISTAC, which operates in the Brazilian market for inspection, maintenance, and repair of submerged structures for the oil and gas industry, announced that it has signed a contract with the Norwegian company BW Energy to perform subsea inspection services on the FPSO Cidade de Vitória, using the vessel SISTAC Esperança. The operations will take place in the Golfinho field, located in the Espírito Santo Basin. The agreement is estimated to last between six and nine months. The work consists of a visual subsea inspection using an ROV (remotely operated vehicle). Following this, the full scope of UWILD (Underwater Inspection in Lieu of Dry-Docking) will be executed, in accordance with the requirements of the global classification society ABS (American Bureau of Shipping). This scope includes detailed inspections of the hull and submerged structures of the floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel, thickness measurements, and any necessary underwater repairs, aiming to ensure structural integrity and extend the unit’s service life.

It is equipped with ROV systems, complete infrastructure to support diving operations, and a highly qualified multidisciplinary technical team.
