PRIO on Peregrino Field shutdown

Aug. 18, 2025 – PRIO S.A. (“Company” or “PRIO”) (B3: PRIO3), informs its shareholders and the market in general that on Friday, August 15, 2025, the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (“ANP”) decided to stop production on the Peregrino FPSO, operated by Equinor do Brasil Ltda. (“Equinor”), as communicated to the consortium partners of the asset through the Operational Safety Superintendence.

The main areas for improvement identified in the notice issued by ANP are: (i) risk management and assessment documentation; and (ii) adjustments to the deluge system.

Equinor, as the operator of the asset, immediately initiated the necessary adjustments, aiming to meet the requirements as swiftly and accurately as possible. At this time, it is estimated that the works will take between 3 and 6 weeks to be fully completed. PRIO, both in its role as a consortium partner and as the future operator of the asset, is working together with Equinor and contributing all possible resources towards the resolution of these matters and will keep the market informed of any further developments on the subject.
