BRAVA ENERGIA S.A. (“BRAVA” or “Company”) (B3:BRAV3), in compliance with the provisions of CVM Resolution No. 44 and the Novo Mercado Regulation, hereby informs its shareholders and the market in general that, at a meeting held on January 29, 2025, the Board of Directors approved the appointment of Mr. Carlos José do Nascimento Travassos for the position of Chief Offshore Operating Officer to replace in April 2025, after a transition period, the current Director Mr. Carlos Ferraz Mastrangelo.
Following the completion of significant milestones, including, among others, the implementation and start of the operations of Atlanta Field’s Definitive Production System, Mr. Mastrangelo informed the Board of his intention to end his term in April 2025, for personal reasons. In order to ensure an efficient transition, Mr. Travassos will be appointed as a non-statutory director as of today and the ratification of his appointment as part of the Statutory Board is expected to occur by April 2025.
Mr. Travassos is a Mechanical Engineer and holds a post-graduation degree in Business Management in oil and gas and renewable energy. He has 39 years of experience and held the position of Vice President of Investment and Digital Technologies at Braskem until December 2024. Previously, he developed his career working in Brazil and abroad for Petrobras, where he worked for 35 years, in addition to four years in the shipbuilding segment, in the Brazilian Navy. During his career at Petrobras, among other leadership positions, Travassos held the positions of Executive Director of Engineering, Technology and Innovation, Executive Manager of Deepwater Projects and Executive Manager of Surface Systems, Refining, Gas and Energy. Among his main contributions, the following stand out: (i) management of projects in exploration and production, including production systems for pre-salt; (ii) management of projects in refineries, logistics and natural gas infrastructures; (iii) leadership in technological development through the Petrobras Research Center; and (iv) leadership in the development and operation of deepwater fields in the Campos and Espírito Santo Basins.
During his years as head of the Offshore Operations Department, Mr. Mastrangelo’s experience in integrated Exploration and Production development projects, especially with the use of FPSO units, was fundamental to enable BRAVA to become the first independent oil and gas company in Brazil to develop a deepwater production system from its initial phase. Brava thanks Mr. Mastrangelo for his dedication and relevant contributions to the company and wishes him continued success in his career.
Finally, Brava reinforces its commitment to keep its investors and the market in general properly informed, in line with best corporate governance practices and in strict compliance with current legislation.
