As of November, executive Olivier Bahabanian will become the new president of the company in the country, in addition to also assuming the position of general director of the company for the Exploration and Production business. The company’s new president in Brazil will have the challenge of starting production at the Sudoeste de Lapa field and contributing, with Petrobrás and its partners, to the execution of the Sépia 2 and Atapu 2 FPSOs. The investments will help to maintain TotalEnergies’ production above 200,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day in Brazil, considered by the company to be a “key country”.
