Pre-salt
Total production (oil + natural gas) in the pre-salt, in May, was 3.314 million boe/d and corresponded to 78.3% of Brazilian production.
This number represents an increase of 5% compared to the previous month and 3.7% compared to the same month in 2023. 2.599 million bbl/d of oil and 113.73 million m³/d of natural gas were produced through 145 wells.
Use of natural gas
In May, natural gas utilization was 97.6%. 46.75 million m³/d were made available to the market and the burning was 3.55 million m³/d. There was a 9.5% drop in burning, compared to the previous month, and 14.2% compared to May 2023.
Origin of production
