(PN) Enauta is looking forward to the arrival of the FPSO Atlanta, which will enter Brazilian waters in the next few days to begin anchoring work. The vessel is scheduled to begin production in August in the Atlanta field, in the Santos Basin. The platform ship has the capacity to process up to 50 thousand barrels per day and store 1.6 million barrels of oil.
The operator also announced that the Atlanta field reached the mark of 30 million barrels of oil equivalent produced at the end of April. Since the beginning of operations in the area, in May 2018, production has occurred through an Early Production System (SPA), with up to three producing wells connected to the FPSO Petrojarl I. At the end of April, the campaign for connection of the subsea equipment for the new wells at FPSO Atlanta, reinforcing the expectation of production starting in August.

We celebrate this milestone and continue working to make Enauta an even more robust company”, commented the oil company’s director of operations, Carlos Mastrangelo.
Enauta’s net production in April in the Atlanta field reached 20 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day, which represents a 24% drop compared to the previous month. Meanwhile, the Manati field, where Enauta has a 45% stake, is undergoing a shutdown for maintenance of selected platform systems and did not produce in April.
The company’s production is stable in 2024, recording an average of 25.5 thousand barrels per day and a total of more than 2 million and 300 thousand barrels produced in the 1st quarter of the year.
