Elysian Brasil Exportação is officially qualified as the newest oil company in Brazil

(TN) Elysian Brasil Exploração e Produção de Petróleo e Gás Natural Ltda., (“Elysian Petroleum”), announces that, on January 17, 2024, it was duly qualified by the National Agency for Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (“ANP”) as Operator “C” (onshore), in accordance with the Tender Notice for the 4th Cycle of the Permanent Offer

This means that the company is now officially the newest oil company in Brazil and that it has proven to have the financial and technical conditions to operate the 122 onshore fields it acquired.

The next steps are:
1 – Bonus payment of R＄6,222,000.00
2- Presentation of the minimum operating guarantee
3- Signing of the concession contract
4- Start of operations

The company won the exploration of the 122 onshore blocks acquired in the last oil and gas concession in Brazil, held on December 13, 2023. The areas acquired by the company from Minas Gerais – with a 100% stake in all cases – are located in the Potiguar Basin (Sergipe and Rio Grande do Norte and Espírito Santo).
