ANP 2nd Cycle of the Permanent Production Sharing Offer will have five blocks available

(TN) Five blocks will be on offer in the public session of the 2nd Cycle of the Permanent Production Sharing Offer (OPP): Cruzeiro do Sul, Esmeralda, Jade, Tupinambá and Turmalina. The public session will take place on 12/13.

The blocks on offer in the 2nd Cycle of the OPP were by the Special Bidding Committee (CEL) in a statement in the Official Gazette of the Union (DOU). These were the blocks that received a declaration of interest from companies registered in the OPP, until 6/10, the deadline established in the 2nd Cycle schedule.

The last company qualified to participate in the 2nd Cycle of the OPP was also announced today, which totals six bidders able to present offers on the day of the public session. The company qualified today, Petronas Petróleo Brasil Ltda., joins the other five that had already had their qualifications approved by CEL: BP Energy do Brasil Ltda., Chevron Brasil Óleo e Gás Ltda., QatarEnergy Brasil Ltda., Shell Brasil Petróleo Ltd. and TotalEnergies EP Brasil Ltda.

In the case of the Permanent Production Sharing Offer, qualification is carried out before the public session and only qualified companies will be able to submit offers (unlike the Permanent Concession Offer, in which qualification is carried out later, only for the winning bidders).

Until 11/8, these six qualified companies will also be able to increase their interest in the event, with the presentation of new declarations of interest and additional offer guarantees.
