Petrobras on contract with COMGÁS

Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. – Petrobras announces that, as a follow-up to the release disclosed on May 29, 2023, it has entered into a new natural gas contract with Companhia de Gás de São Paulo (“Comgás”), effective from January 2024 until December 2034, in the estimated amount of R$ 56 billion.

The contract is the result of the Public Call for Tenders 01/2023 held by Comgás, which aims to supply gas to serve Comgás’ regulated market, whose concession area is located in the state of São Paulo, reinforcing the commercial partnership between the companies.

In accordance with the established regulatory procedures, the contract will be sent to the ANP, which is responsible for publicizing it in compliance with ANP Resolution No. 52/2011, which, in paragraph 6 of article 11, provides that the Agency will give full publicity to natural gas purchase and sale contracts signed between traders and local piped gas distributors to serve captive markets.

Facts deemed material will be timely disclosed to the market.
